Verify nonprofit eligibility and licensing before a pilot
Confirm tenant eligibility, prerequisite licenses, current pricing, and the people who actually need access.
Verify status with Microsoft
Microsoft publishes eligibility rules and a nonprofit FAQ. Use those pages as the source for current qualification, availability, and discount information rather than relying on a dated article or reseller summary.
Map prerequisites to real users
Confirm the eligible base license, supported update channel, identity setup, and app usage for each proposed pilot user. A license is not a readiness plan.
Price the pilot, not the aspiration
Start with the smallest group that can test a complete workflow. Include training, administration, data cleanup, review time, and change management in the cost discussion.
