Write a grounded prompt people can reuse

Describe the task, source, audience, constraints, output, and review instead of asking Copilot to guess.

Use six parts

Name the task, permitted source material, intended audience, important constraints, required output format, and review questions. Include what Copilot should flag rather than invent.

Ground only in approved content

Point to the specific document, meeting, message, or folder that has been reviewed for the task. More context is not always better context.

Iterate on the request

Ask for gaps, assumptions, and uncertain claims. Refine structure and coverage, then have a qualified person verify the result against the sources.
